Call for Presentations

We’re Looking For A Few Good Speakers!
If you have an interesting presentation idea for the Optimize This! 2012 conference, we invite you to submit an application for our Call For Presentations. Participating as a conference speaker will bring positive visibility to your company as a technology leader and industry innovator. The deadline for submission of presentation applications is March 30, 2012.

The Evaluation Process
Members of the Conference Committee will evaluate all proposed presentations based on the following criteria: overall quality, relevance to the field of optimization, practical application of HEEDS software, timeliness of the topic and speaker qualifications.

To be considered as a speaker, your presentation must be educational in nature — that is, sales presentations will not be accepted. In addition, your material should be original; otherwise, sources must be referenced. For multiple speakers, each speaker must agree to this submission. Incomplete presentation submissions will not be considered.

Final presentation selections and notifications will be made in May. You will be notified only if your presentation is selected. If selected, you will need to provide the final presentation and a 3 to 5 page extended abstract/paper to the Conference Committee by September 17, 2012.

Presentation Guidelines
Your presentation should address an application of Red Cedar Technology software. Presentations should be approximately twenty to forty minutes in length, including a brief session for question and answer. Programs should not consist of more than three speakers.
